Cinco de Mayo~

Heya~ Its me again <3 Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone, I noticed I have over 40 page views which makes me VERY happy, but I dont have any followers :( I need to work on changing that, what do YOU guys all want to see in the blog! That is what I ask  you, and i want answers! Please!Okay, so Baby isnt coming out with prints really, which makes me sad because I am a sucker for prints. However, they DO have an AMAZING Alice style dress out:
I love it so much! The sleeves AND apron are detachable and it comes with the katyusha. The lace has a suit pattern, you know, spades, clubs, hearts and diamonds. And my, my i do love this OP it is super cute, the best thing I think Baby has out!
And the few prints Baby does have out, well, I only really enjoy one and that is: Ring Present Box and it is a JSK

This is super cute! I love the side bow and the print is to die for. This definitely makes it to my top dresses, not quite dream, but top dresses.  There is shirring in the back and the buttons are little bears! It is so cute I really like this dress, the design and the print is all super cute! Kudos to baby for making such a lovely dress! And I just love all the detail, not like detail is a characteristic of only Baby dresses, but this is just superb. Everything is very detailed at beautiful. I really love how this turned out!

So recently I finished my second Lolita skirt.  I based my pattern off of my own knowledge and this tutorial: Simple Lolita skirt by Melikestea. here is the video. Her tutorials are really good and useful. She goes through every step with you and is open to any questions you may ask. She also has a vlog, however I dont watch vlogs, but in case anyone in interested here is her Youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/MeLikesTea

Some other really cool tutorial people are: Evalrie- she does AMAZING accessory and make-up tutorials. I totally would recommend her if you need to learn how to make accessories fast. She does a really good job. I am about to use this tutorial (he one above) for Cassie's and my twinning coordinate. However there will be a few modifications. Instead of a square i would prefer to go triangle and instead of fruit I want to go sweets. however this will be the basic design, i might, however, decide to do square, like the tutorial, though...

And finally, paperpastels is a good tutorial person. I really want to create a felt doughnut from on of her tutorials. It would be loads of fun and I would make one for Cassie too! :) and I would love to modify it into a head piece. I think it would be super cute! I still need to get felt though! haha

So here are some jokes because...well because haha
1- how many OTT lolita's does in take to plug in a lightbulb?....(none they are all to busy trying to put in in their hair)
2-  What did the lolita with a 28 inch waist say when she tried on the un-shirred Secret Cake Factory skirt? (pan pan desu)
3- Did you hear about that shiro-lolita who took a tour of the marshmallow factory?
Yeah, the problem is, we havn't heard back from her.
4-what a good joke well...Milanoo is a pretty good one

Hello there~

Hello~ I am Alice and this is my first, yes, my very first, lolita blog!!!! And, as the name implies, I am on the younger side of it all. My closset is very small, however I hope to expand it in the next year! That is me wearing my newest addition, Bodyline Alice JSK. I am wearing that exact coordinate to PCC this year on Saturday, so if you see me feel free to say hello!

Today I want to talk about some of of the new stuff that has been coming out in lolita, just Angelic Pretty today, but over the next few days I hope to look at all the new additions to all the popular lolita brands. The most recent addition to AP(according to the dates on the website, correct me if I am wrong) is:
Which I think looks super cute. I love the bonnet for this series and the halter JSK, but I have always been a sucker for halter JSK's, haha, like AP's Melody Doll halter JSK...omg, they just wanted to kill me didnt they?!
Another AP print that has recently come out is:
I think this OP is to die for~ This all looks super cute~ And I would love to see some accesories and a purse come out for it. Other than that little pouch, a REAL purse <3 I really am curious on what this prints name is...but...the print is cute so I suppose that is all that matters~

Now, onto the funny habbits a lolita can have and will have. If you dont do any of this you are seriously not that into lolita. Not stalking websites enough, not wanting enough, not familiar enough, however if you are new I dont blame you :)
Hear are my personal top 5:

1- you see etc and immidiately think of Emily Temple Cute
2-You have detatchable bows to attach to your everyday shoes(or maybe thats just me...)
3- You know the meaning of : The AP OP from the LP
4-if you can translate : I wanna wear my APOP with my SSTPS but my BTTSB OTKS are at my boyfriends house
5- you get a pair of jeans for $40 and think you are getting ripped off then proceed to get a dress for $275 and think its a bargain

Feel free to tell me all of your favorites!!!

So if you are new to lolita I would now like to share with you the steps to get a closset started. Deffinately not the steps I took, but the steps.

1. Start by finding a peice of lolita that you really love and would like to wear. Find it or something similar on Taobao, Bodyline, or secondhand. I do NOT suggest jumping straight into brand.
2. Decide on your budget for the rest of your accesories. I would suggest either $100-$200 because lolita can get expensive and make sure you stick to it!
3. Start by getting things that would go well with the peice you originally liked. I reccomend starting with a petticoat, and then blouse(if necessary), socks/shoes, accesories, wigs etc. Again, dont go straight into brand. You just need the basics at this point.
4. Now that you have enough for at least one coordinate you can think of other peices that might go well with what you already have. It make coordinating outfits easier, especially if you are a begginer. I personally own a lot of pink and black at this point. I am starting to get into Gothic now which will be a new subfashion of lolita in my closset :)
5. If you have any questions you can always ask me, your local lolita communtity, or EGL( http://egl.livejournal.com/ ) Everyone there is always eager to help newer lolitas!
6. Eventually you can get newer styles and as you become more comfortable with the style it is time to get some brand. Always look into the brand you are buying from before you make your first brand purchase!!

I hope this was help for some of you younger lolitas~
Until next time,
Bye Bye <3
